I have given up on phones, I get excited about them for about a month then just use them for phone calls and texts. Got a free Xperia play (the one with the playstation slide out control) £16.00 a month for dicking about with emulators.

Aye. All depends what you use your phone for. Literally just phone calls & texts - then stick to your old fashioned reliable long-lasting battery Nokia. And no one's gonna want to nick it.

Nokia 6110. Slap bang in the middle of that pic with the sexual chameleonesque colours. Loved. That. Phone.

Ah yeah the 8810 (iirc), they were dead fancy at the time. :) I had the 8210 (red one middle of the same row) and I still have 2 of the 7110 "banana" phones in a drawer.

Oh, Nokia, what happened to you? :(

One of my favourites was the very very tiny cute Panasonic GD55. Smallest phone I've ever owned. Awesome call quality and battery life for such a tiny thing. Still got it & it still works!

The 8210 was the last Nokia I owned, SE gained my loyalty for a few generations with the sublime T610 and I only just left SE for Samsung. I wouldn't even contemplate buying Nokia now, whereas 10-15 years ago it was just the natural choice it seems.

Battery Tech really isn't improving that fast and yet it is needed for so many products and future ideas.

Question Ed: Why get an iPhone if all you're using it for is calls?
