Haha talk about reading it wrong, what I mean is that the prydwenites come, slack off the whole server just cause this vid didnt have a strafer/pd5 bd and we're in for a surprise when their oh so much better groups come and poon us just because theres a vid that doesnt even show any of the better groups except Groove wiping them? Nowhere did I say that I dont appreciate people trying to run fg but judging the whole server from a vid that has a Bloodlusty group in it is just plain wrong

he actually has another video where your guild die to them (since im sure you consider yourself one of the real groups), no idea why draxa didn't compile the footage from both his test movies into a 'good' movie but as the movie states its a test movie.

Sure we've died to them, do you see me denying it? I even agree that TT is one of the better alb groups, I'm only saying that the quality of the enemy groups in the vid wasnt that good, sure it can be a test movie or whatever but still personally I would leave the testing as a private matter and not publish us killing not so good groups, especially several times in the same vid.

it was a private movie fyi, ppl asked to see it so Sollers let them. some ppl will like it, some ppl wont..... same as most things in life as u cant please everyone. this particular movie was taken over 2 days last week where rvr has not been its best, so u will have to excuse us for not finding any "good" groups on them nights.

and tbh who cares if ur fighting a "good" group or not, a good fg fight is a ................... good fg fight, regardless of who u are playing against imo.

This whole movie was in fact a test movie. Draxa just got his new PC and was trying out fraps for the first time. After 2 days of recording, he put this little movie on our forum. Then the word spread on irc and many people asked me to make it public and they knew what to expect, a simple hardly edited movie recorded over 2 nights. And that's what they got. If you don't like it, that's fine

Suggest you just wait for the launch of our first decent movie, I can assure you there will be fights vs. the 'best' groups on excal.

p.s: Even though the groups in these vid might not be the absolute best around, I do think they deserve more respect than this. Moreover, we, TT, do take groups such as Defiance and Revolver very seriously and even lose to them if we don't pay attention. It's a good thing that people still bother to form groups for FG RvR, I praise them for that, and I'm sure they are happy to be in this little vid, even though they lose.

As an alb you have the chance to meet atleast up to 6-7 good groups from enemy realms and having a decent fight vs each in a vid makes for a great movie, no?

this vid mostly shows the semi-serious, groups thought as randoms or rp's-on-legs instead of any of the _real_ groups, I only wonder why there arent any real groups in the vid? Yeah.

But counting our group, RR/NP playing again, Groove makes for 4 groups if you have a fight vs NP as both hibs and mids. Then add a fight or two versus few of the more established guild groups such as Defiance etc and totally skip groups like Bloodlusty's would make the average of the groups in the vid a lot higher. What I mean is that you almost totally skipped the "top tier" of groups on Excal from this vid besides the Groove fight, and included a few fights from the very low end of ppl running fg and then we get some spaniard telling us Excal is up for a surprise simply because this vid didnt include them. -.-

Really, for the last time This is a vid recorded over nights of RvR (6 hours in total). Anyone who thinks he can judge the quality of excal groups by this small amount of footage is pretty naive and in for a big surprise himself when clustering gets here.

I really don't know what you are getting so worked up about him saying those things. Most important though, you should refrain from calling these 'not the best' groups Rps-on legs/randoms though, because they're not and they play this game in the same way as you do, FG vs FG with no adds... respect that; that mentality is rare enough as it is, let's not flame eachother away.

Umh whats so hard to understand about the fact that some groups are better than others?

edit: and beating someone once or twice doesnt mean you are as good as them, but have steady and even fights most of the time and be on more or less 50/50 win/lose ratio.

i got it recorded, i mispressed phaseshift and got horribly owned was a nice fight though.

I did that cos there was me and ashy left. Your group needs to stop talking shit about how u are top of the daoc food chain. You arent. no where near. You aint even number 1 hib group. RR are light years ahead of you. Yeah yeah, Synergy suck, but we know our limitations and never profess to be anything that we arent.
