Small interview with Zenythe English Community Manager and GM.
The small talk have been cut out to easier get to the real questions to appear (so basicly this is a verry short version of a long talk), all logs have been editied for it to loook more understandable.
My english isnt be best so please take note, sensible info have been removed. As some may help radar users get another step ahead.
My own comment: GoA is on the right track and soon we will get rid of most "cheaters". Keep your eyes open as GoA IS dependant on our reports.
So its up to us to get this to stop. Got the impression things are going GoA's way. Naming and shaming on FH is not the way to go to get to those you suspect. If you got further questions, DO NOT hesitate to contact some GM, as their verry friendly and can give u alot of good answers
Q: What's with you GM's patrolling our frontiers more frequently?
A: As for being online more often it's just something that we try to do so people can contact us.
Q: I haven't gotten the impression up until now GoA has been doing anything about bug abusing and 3rd hand party program usage, (radar mainly).
A: We investegate all the reports we get however it is very hard to trace radar use.
Q: How do I fill a report?
A: They need to be submitted via rightnow so we can track what is done in the investegation.
Q: Allrigh, so it can be looked upon even thou it occured a few days ago?
A: Yes because we use the server logs not screenshots or chatlogs, everything that happens or is said in the server is recorded.
Q: How do you prefere the report to look like? (include screens/videos/logs)?
A: Time/Date/story/involved people.
Q: How is your search of abusers compared to mythic's?
A: We dont have the facility that mythic are using and everything has to be investegated induvidualy.
Q: Whats the main difference?
A: With the launch of new frontiers Mythic has put somekind of snoop or something in place <we aren't sure what it is yet> that makes it easier to ID people using radar.
Q: Some kind of filter?
A: Not sure but it has resulted in about 750 people being suspended or altogether banned.
Q: Do you have any official numbers of the amouth of bans since you started to focus on these issues?
A: No
Q: Amouth of people working on these kind of stuff?
A: Cannot be said.
