Bodhi you newbie, it has nothing to do with connection speed. Here lies the problem:
Despite having virtually no usage, the webserver is overloaded massively. Perhaps DBs is using it to create thumbnails for his massive pr0n library, or maybe creating VCDs of all his goat-pr0n mpegs!

What options are people using? Perhaps the forum is only being slow for people with a certain setup.
I have:
Green/BW stylesheet
Avatars enabled
Sigs enabled
I think that's the only options there are... Allthough this reply page has 0.210 seconds at the bottom, which maybe screws that theory. All other pages have been at around the 5second mark though.

I am still optimizing apache2 and MySQL along with PHP to ensure the server handles a greater load with good enough response times.
