So i have a question about SLI. I have an Leadtek 8800 gtx from a year back maybe. Found a really cheap XFX 8800 gtx now that i plan on getting. Do you think that this will work even tho they are different manufacturers involved?

Yup, make sure that you use the most conservatively clocked one in the 'master' slot though.

Hi fettoken

Just to echo what inactionman said, cards from different companies will work fine in SLI mode provided they are the same model. The cards can have different clock speeds, memory sizes, and BIOSs, but the better card will always run at the speed of the slower card (because of the way the rendering is equally distributed between the two).

Kind regards

I had an Orchid Righteous 3D II and the Creative version running in SLI just fine.

Mind, that was proper SLI, none of this fancy new fangled nonsense. Real men have 3 video cards :)

Real men don't need graphics cards; they just go out and kill things/people ;-)
