Sleep Disorder ???

Well i was having a lazy sunday today as usual when my brother returns from drinking at like 3pm after paddy's day ...

Then he takes me aside and say's ... man , im afraid to go to sleep

Im like .... ok dood wtf ? i am 23 and he is 20 btw .

He then describes what has beem happenning to him last few months ,

He goes to sleep and 3-4 times every night without fail he wakes up but cant move for like 10 minutes or so but is aware of everything going on around him , he said it happenned like 8 times last wednesday night and he has been afraid to sleep since :touch:

Anyone know if this is a condition or something ? Drawn a blank on google (sleep problems)

Actually i've experienced this many times, but it's kinda what i'm aiming for these days.

Lucid dreaming, or dream control, is a state where you keep your mind awake as you fall "asleep". You can actually go to dreammode and control it. It's really, REALLY cool when you do succeed

Paralysis and hallucinations are two of the steps that occur especially when trying to stay "awake" while going to sleep. Paralysis is body's safety mechanic really, shutting down so you don't bounce off the walls while being chased by an Ezteq foaming from the mouth.

tbh tell your brother to go to the doctors, i really dont want to have to see another thread where someone asks for advise about something they think is a minor medical problem and then they either come back a few days later because they were rushed to hospital, or they don't come back at all.
