Slash infil?

Thinking of respecing from thrust to slash. I´m quite aware of the benefits of having Dragonfang. I´m 5L6 so it has saved my life quite some times....

Should I consider myself as a gimp after the respec? It sounds really interesting since I don´t use dragonfang THAT often.

Slash bonus on sbs..... but on nightshades you get REAL nasty slash resists and if they use avoid pain 3 with that :EEEE

Slash looks way more cool than thrust,which means slash is the way to go. \\o

Main reason for going slash, is not to be dependent on that garotte combo.

Amethyst slash and diamond slash are way more better.


Played a sb on Logres quite a while ago (nerfed to death kobi no i will never spec in crit styles^^).....

Slash infils have been worst enemies on the assassin side. Although they do not have any after evade stunnning style.

Well, Slash = 100% Str based, Slash = Tertiary Inf stat = gets raised every 3 levels...

Thrust = 50% Str and 50% Dex based, Dex = Primary Inf stat = gets raised every level...

So a thruster will always have higher weaponskill than a slasher + Slash really really suffers from enervating poison =)

The reason to go slash is: Decent anytime style (without defence penalty like garrote has) and the dmg table.

edit: just checked. weaponskill unbuffed; 1087. maybe the 1200ish was from my thruster days, dunno

how about respec to half slash, half thrust. You'll probably still have a higher weap skill than a sb, due to abundant amount of skill points you get.
