Slam Rate.

Is there a greater chance to land slam depending on what kind of shield you are using.

Small, medium or large?

I wish. I'm afraid it's a flat chance at 75%; however I'm not sure where I got that info, it could be all wrong etc, but that's what I remember.

Cap is afaik 75% and you will without a doubt block the most with a large shield.

But use lesser end slamming with a small shield?

Shield size does not effect chance to perform a successful slam, shield has it's own weaponskill wich isn´t displayed anywhere. Shield spec and dexterity determines the amount of shield WS one have.
