Jeopardy IBM challenge, well worth a looksie.

Somewhat daunting of a machine.

It's basically a supercomputer playing jeopardy against two top players in a three day match(so think it's a three parter).

I'll start by saying;

All hail our watson overlord.

The most interesting part in my opinion isn't that it's snart, but that it also gets things wrong. Kinda like skynet in the sarah connor chronicles, smart, but missing the fine tuning of humanity

Which ofcourse can be dangerous if it starts to evolve on its own.

Hell, the moment it notices how much people hurt people, it might do an asimov move ala i, robot.

Haha. I actually found the questions it got wrong the most interesting too. I'd love to be able to find the thought process involved when it gets a question wrong. IT was funny in an interview with the maker he said he gets asked that all the time and has no idea. Also cool that it recognies metaphors and puns too.
