And it's got Javier Bardem as the villain!! That's got to be a good thing. He is excellent!

Hopefully it's a bit more plot driven than the last two, which have suffered in that aspect.

QoS and CR suffered massively from not having anything interesting going on to frame the action.

CR is still the highest grossing bond film though so from a money making standpoint they are doing it right.

They haven't been particularly good for a long time though.

I really like the new films.

One thing I realised is how the film industry likes to show highest grossing films as a way of seeing how much better they do each year. When really it's to do with the rising cost of cinema tickets.

I'd like to see a list which shows number of tickets sold or something like that going back through the history of film. I'm not sure that would show it right either though since new cinemas will be built, more people have access, etc.

I can't remember where but I saw a list before of highest grossing Movies ever, adjusted for inflation, and it was either Casablanca or Gone with the wind that was no. 1. Let me see if I can find it....

Apparently, they're looking for someone from FH to play the bad guy. Any suggestions?
(He's a sexual deviant, has loads of wierd sex, is a billionaire arms dealer, but ends up getting ganked by Bond)

White cat is optional.

Cinema attendances back in the golden era were much, much higher than today. They had a more captive audience. It was a proper night out, it was relatively cheap and there was little else to do, unlike today.

I'll give it a miss if Daniel Craig is still bond. Still undecided if I like the new take on Bond, I enjoyed the cheese of the older films. Felt like CS was trying too hard to be better than Bourne even though they are two different films.

Casino Royale is a great film in my opinion, best Bond since the sixties. The one after that, not so good.

The villain and premise of QoS weren't great but it was a good popcorn muncher. I'd say The World is Not Enough first though, then Casino Royale.

I understood it but it felt like they'd put far too much time and effort into "oh look, a pretty background" than anything else.

Looks really polished, and they are clearly introducing some humour back into the series.

New trailer looks actually good, was rather uninterested after the first trailer.
