I can't believe some of you lot actually like the theme tune... It makes me cringe. It sounds like a reworking of "Mr Pro Wrestler Costume Designer!". It just gives off this air of.... *inhales*.... mullet. Mullet and very tight tapered jeans. If thats the music of the future I'm all for small countries stock piling nuclear weapons.

The new theme music is utter shite, all about reaching for the heart and loving one another and caring and stuff, it should go on the carebears movie not this ffs. I want killing wacky aliens and blowing up ships n stuff and orchestral music rocks, the new theme tune would have mr roddenberry turning in his grave. Aside from that i've loved the new series bar one episode.

Unbelievable.

Sounds like it's from a cheap, early eighties, American TV drama. Where's the big, sweeping, majestic orchestral sounds? TNG, DS9 and Voyager all had superb themes.

It's a sad time for Star Trek.

And as for the Title Music I didn't like it to begin with but after seing it with the credits and a few episodes later and I quite like it. Are you sure you got the right credits the track on the guys CD is different to the real music at the beginning

It's always been stated that the Enterprise Kirk captained was the 2nd Starfleet vessel bearing that name. The first was a pleasure cruiser.

So yer they've fucked up the continuity massively by naming this ship Enterprise.

But then again there's a huge temporal war on, and with Brannon Braga at the helm, it would not surprise me in the least to see the series end with a temporal screw up negating everything this crew does thus restoring the accepted trek time line...
