Is any one using the Sky package of tv/phone/boradband for £26, if so any problems that have cropped up so far?

Had it for a few weeks now. No problems at all. Even the wireless does ok.

Had sky TV for years. Never any probs.

We don't use the phone often. Although the calls to spain and ireland are free :)

A few problems with sky (or at least our package) that we noticed after moving over from NTL.

No picture in picture if you are watching something and browsing for something else.

You cant get info on a program without going into the menu screen, thus not being able to see/hear what you are currently watching (see above)

Pay per view films, you have to watch them when they want you to (hourly slots) not when you like as in with NTL

Laughable customer service...yes even worse than with NTL

I have heard good things about their internet package though.

Friend signed up, took 6 1/2 weeks with customer service to get their internet working. No other issues.

That's the only one of the list that REALLY irks me..
There's simply no reason you shouldn't be able to do it other than the person who wrote the guide was crap!

Actually the customer service has been fairly good for me so far.
They even managed to provide my pin number at 1am when I wanted to order a paperview and couldn't find any of the details they would normally get stroppy over but don't actually need, and without any pissing about between 7 different people either.

I only have the TV package tho, mainly because I ordered broadband off someone else a week before I realised they did it! :twak:

.

There is a weak arse work around where from the channel you are watching u can use the left and right arrows to see what's on the other channels (your start point being the channel you are on) U can use the info button for more detail from here.

But yeah that sucks arse, I could live with just having sound from the channel you were watching but Nooo. :<
