If you can get to Xscape in the inbred Castleford (Well just outside) its very good

Is it a good idea to buy any ski clothes or hire all of it when you get there?

ive been skiing loads of times, but this is only my second time snowboarding.
boarding seems for fun, but its alot more tiring (and an arse to catch lifts with)

i have bought ski clothes because i go every year, but if you are not sure if you will go again, probably best to hire. or, get something that you can wear not only for skiing!

dry ski slopes = hurt when learning

Make sure you visit gorgasm etc, and download some 'extreme clips' of skiers and snowboarders, just so you know your limits

I find it a shit load easier to get lifts with a board then skis.

and there is a decent jump park ("jam park") where im going, but to get to it you have to go up an arse of a drag!

The skiing bit wasn't anything special, but the aprés-ski rocks

I just got back from ski trip.

Had a fantastic time and luckily no broken bones or sprains.
Its only my second time skiing so the only photo's on my digi cam were at the resort (cos I was too scared I would smash my camera to bits) which I may post later (and none will have me in )

I was a little bit further away from Mont Blanc than Evilmonkeh.
