Skald spec question

I am just curious as to the relative strengths and weaknesses of the various weapons for a skald. My current plan is:
45 battlesongs
44 weapon
rest in parry.

Which do people recommend for a skald, hammer, axe or sword?
(currently 2-h axe)

when I dinged lvl 50 I had this spec:

47 Sword
46 BS
5 Parry

and then I got a respeccstone and respeced to:

50 Sword (if you are going to use sword you MUST have 50 on it)
43 BS (you MUST have 43 BS to get the best speed song)
2 Parry (rest in parry...)

44 weapon, 46 BS, rest in parry..

or

50 weapon, 43 BS, rest in parry


all other setups are no good imo..
