Skald rings...

In need of some tidy rings for my skald, my char is not capped atm but str and con are...

I think some drop @ malmo lake but i will be stuffed if i can remember what they are

Well skald rings you say.
I think you shouldnt put too much in CHA, i have only epic armour giving cha atm, and the epic items. and are at 157 CHA.
And i do damn fine with that.
I mezz red occasional purp and 99% likely mezz in RvR.

If i were you i would bet more in DEX/QUI and resistances.
Cuz we the glorious skalds have parry and eveda 1.
I evade much more and tend to block mobs much much better.
I have gotten with items my dex to 124 and qui to 109.

I remember some weeks ago i stood in DF and farmed some mobs to get coin/sapphire seals.
And i must say i could clearly see the difference.
From loosing up to 50+% of HP to these yellow/blue mobs i now lost 10-20% tops, and also saw how underestimated the follow up attacks are.

And i ofcourse also dealt more damage with +35 in Qui.

Then it comes to resistances, for the moment Thrust damage in melee is one of the dmg types i fear the most.
And alot of weapons seem to circulate in alb with this damage type atm.

I have chosen to concentrate on BODY/Thrust and cold atm.

well thats my personal thoughts.

oh yes forgot to mention STR/CON are more or less capped with epic armour alone..

I guess you mean acient ebon ring (str7, con7, quick7 cha6). Allthou i have only read about that ring, and it can be dropped by drakulv attendants at lake.
I myself use 2x band of ice. it has great resistances (cold 6, heat6, spirit 6 con 13) and it can be dropped by wrights or wraiths in rauma.

hmmm my str and con are capped. Char is at 166 off the top of my head but dex is a pitiful 80ish and quick about 75 so from what u saying my char is just fine as it is. Will have to scout around and check out my resistances also.

ancient ebon, i have one and yes it came from attendants at lake, seen a few drop there, quite rare though
