Just started playing my skald in RvR and was wondering, what RA's to focus on getting?

ppl yell for sos, purge is must for solo, MoPain for that extra crit, augstr - just top of me head here

grp : i would say sos (4 inc's), AM and purge
solo : i would say purge, ip, passives (str mop etc)

  Mastery of Focus 1 +3 to resist level of spells 

Summary Of Active Abilities:
  Name: Effect: Reuse: 
  Ignore Pain 2 50% in-combat heal 900 
  Purge 1 Purge neg. effects, 5 sec delay 900 
  Speed of Sound 1 10s uninterruptable Speed 4 600 
  Ameliorating Melodies 1 100pt group heal each 3s for 30s 600 
  Anger of the Gods 2 20 DPS, 30s group damage add 600
And I'm saving to get AM2 next. I run in groups mostly, but these RAs are also good for solo/duo/trio.

At RR3 I would start with something like this:

And get AM1 at 3L5. That's the RAs I have most use for. If you're planning to solo you need IP2, but then you have to drop the group abilities.

Thats totally useless, imo drop Anger of the Gods and mop, and get purge 2 firstly, its a must.


Im running with this spec as 6L6 (as solo/duo skald mainly)
Purge 2
Sos 2
IP 2
MoPain 1
Aug Str 3

I was thinking of going for following RAs at RR3:

Mastery of Parrying 1
Mastery of Pain 2
Ignore Pain 1
Aug Strength 2
Purge 1

10 points for purge 2 is too much at RR3 imo, but how useful is Anger of the Gods and SoS for solo skald? U reckon Anger of the God will come in more handy than IP?

IP2 or no ip. IP 1 with 20% just isnt worth it imo. very rarely you see ppl with ip1. For soloing id suggest purge2 as the others, you just dont have the 5 sec to wait to get stun nuked or dded.

purge 1 works for dealing with those nasty assassin debuffs, for soloing that is.

I rather go for SOS1 than IP1 since its very useful both solo and running in rvr grp.

Some say Purge 1 is a waste, I dont agree. 5s is much better than 40+s.
