ive been wondering about what RA's my wannabe 50 skald is gonna have.. and ppl say that skalds are only speedbots, nothing more. So i was thinking about that stackable grp damage add they get.. have anyone tried it? how much more damage are we talking here?

should get me a teeny bit more groupability i think....

I'd get Purge 1st, no det = standing around while the det tanks do stuff.

Fury of the Gods adds around 60 on 2h and 30 extra dmg on savages h2h for 30 sec. Really good when albs pop BOF. And it stack with other dmg adds.
But I think u need purge, mop 3 some aug str first.

FotG is pure waste and isnt sure worth to get for 14 points. Instead damage add what last 30 sec ( reuse 30min ) and makes laughable damage u should go for purge, IP, AP, MoP first, can get FotG later if u bother play nerfed ( with every patch) char that long

Summarily: i dont recommend it on low RRs, up to u what u get post RR8-9

IP should be left till later if your in a decent grp, if you like soloing/running in random grps it might not be a bad idea to get it quite soon
lw and purge first for sure
mop4 is very nice, aug str is useful too

fotg is good, but its not something i'd recommend till high rr
adds maybe 5 more dmg per hit on average than the top skald chant when fully hasted etc, but its nice with both stacked

best would be purge lw1 and ip since most of them spec 2 hand not much defense but i never played a skald tho

im rr5L6 and i got so far Purg-IP-MoP2-AugCon1-Tughnes1-AugDex2
will go for MoP3 nex as im troll skald i dont need to put more in AugStr
as for me i wanna do as much dmg i can to help my grp.
i just might spec some ra in AugAcu so i do more dmg with dd´s

purge is a must.
ip isnt good enough, not if u play in a decent grp with healers hwo can heal just reasonably well.
fury of the gods is supposed to be quite nice when albs pop bof.

but ye, its rather limited how many ras u actually want, some skalds go high MOP due to little intrest in other abilities. is some around with mop 5, and they hurt like hell, so thats something u might wanna consider.
