Does anyone play BF on a 56k connection. I was really unlukcy, I had adsl when the demo was out and played shit loads. When the full game came out I moved house into a non-broadband area. So does anyone actually play on a modem... i very much dought it but it's worth seeing.

We had a guy called Vas who was a sniper on a 56K. I guess it wasn't that great, but he certainly did alright in game, hopefully 1.3 will feature a tweaking of the netcode and things will get even better for the slower connections.

Does NTL Broadband count?

I used to play on 56k with the demo and it work okay, if there were any problems it was usually down to the ISP or my PC

Hahahahahehehehehehohohohohoho, useful tweaks in a BF1942 patch, that's a good one .

I'm just hoping they put 'invert mouse' in the general controls tab, grrrrr.
