What is the name ? Look it up, try NetDoctor for example.

Antibiotics often cause stomach upsets, try eating live yohurt to replenish the digestive bacteria you've lost to the medicine.

If thats penicillen, stop them immediatly and talk to your doctor. Immediately.


Says the lady who had tingley feeling all over, feet and hands bright red and had her throat swell up. Nothing like stopping breathing to highlight the fact your tablets don't agree with you.


Edit: And if its Arythrimicin (Sp? Pronounced Areethra-mice-in) then a common side effect of it is sickness, but its *cheap*.

Regardless, talk to your doctor whatever.

Tingly in right hand. I stopped taking them and the feelings of nausia have gone and surprise surprise no more trots.

It was Oxytetracycline. Thanks for the netdoctor link btw. Doesnt sound like a nice antibiotic if you ask me.

Im going to see the Doctor this week I guess.

*edit* oxytetracycline - side effects....nausea, vomiting, diahhrhoea,.... and loads of others..but no mention of tingling

Apparently its good for treating VD (chlamidia)....now... you haven't been sticking your winky where you shouldn't

No thats in good condition and still works. Its for a chest infection. He's given me an alternative, amoxycillin, so thats a penecillin based broad spectrum antibiotic that I'm not allergic to.

amoxycillin works well for chest infections, ive had 2 :/
