We're both sick to death of turkey, so we're ordering a mammoth Chinese take out tonight. Anyone else fed up with it?

I'm actually not a big fan of turkey. I'd much prefer roast chicken - or Chinese or Indian Christmas Day !!! - NOW you're talking :)...but if you're over at the inlaws what can you do? Meh...

Thankfully in Sweden, we use ham instead of turkey so I don't have this problem.

I had 3 turkey dinners in the lead up to christmas day, so we had chicken and duck on the day itself. On boxing day it was my sisters house were we had Indian, yesterday I had Mexican, and today it is left overs from those meals.

No, we had chicken wrapped in duck wrapped in Turkey. Ate it all the same day.

Turkey is a waste of money/effort/space.

I love turkey, tbh my xmas this year was shite I had a horrible time and spent most of it miserable but the turkey was the best bit and having turkey sammiges with a nice cold glass of milk in the evening made me happier than you can imagine.

Scandinavian fashion you plick :D

Swedes just stick their dick in it and scream it's chowtime.

But agreed 99%, it ain't Yule without the piggy on the table.

Turkey and all that are just silly additions.

Pig really is the god of meat.

Pork comes seriously low on my list of preferred meats. OK bacon is sublime, but TBH you can keep the rest of the animal. Gimme chicken, steak, & fish and I could happily live the rest of my life without eating anything from a pig other than bacon.

This is all I crave for Christmas, even though I will have a piece of duck as well.
