This close to release i seriously doubt they'd push it's date back. After all the publishers really couldn't give a rat's ass about a game actually working or improving its content, they just want it out on time.

You'l note the server that apears below Gorre, its called Lothian or somthing like that.

You see GOA don't consider us worthy of an opinion (and i'm inclined to agree with them looking at the above posts) so they had the resisdent ass kissers (i'm jelous, so by bi-littling you it makes me feel better ) to do a closed Beta test.

Incase you were hoping for an Open beta of SI which i assume is what your getting at with the reference to Gorre, it ain't gonna happen that i'm fairly sure on because SI comes from a CD, i'm assuming the people that are testing it were able to download it but i don't think GOA would want a download that big chewing up their connection. especially when they can get money out of us for it

On a more serious note, as has been pointed out, it'll be the volunteers that get to test SI as doing an open beta test would be a wee bit silly to be perfectly honest

Yes its closed beta, and GOA has been working hard on getting it out. However due to the size of the download needed, its highly impraticle to allow too many into the testing. Im sure this forum would fill with whines about LDing and bandwidth problems with 100+ trying to leech a 600Mb file from the servers.

Still, 24 hours to go boys and girls, and beleive me, its worth the wait.

Is it right they are upgrading all the server to SI for the 19th?? and if u get ur UK copy early then u can play SI even tho UK shops don;t have it till 21st?
