Is this quest doable within our current patch?

And another question,

When I read about the "Stoneheart quest" they mention a very powerfull necklace.

Still, by reading the info on the link above no stats of this necklace is mentioned.


What are the stats of this "highly spoken of" necklace?

maybe you're thinking about the beaded resisting stone necklace? the one with 10% to 4 resists?

that neckie is a reward of the 'ancestral secrets' quest. however it's bugged in this patch so there's only a random chance you will recieve the necklace when you complete the quest (you do however get a weapon of your choice). in 1.59 the quest get's fixed so everyone can do it again and recieve the necklace.

hmmm not sure about that.

i read on the VNboards that everyone will get to do the quest over again even if they have done it before or not. When they complete it they will recieve the necklace but it will be NO TRADE like those SI bracers. Even if you were lucky and already got one that too will become NO TRADE, so if you get one now remember to place it on the char you want to have it. You can ofcourse just do the quest again and have 2 necklaces, but that takes time and such

I'll go check the VNBoards and see if I can find some more info on this!

Beaded Resisting Stone

Stats are: Crush 10% Thrust 10% Cold 10% Body 10%

In 1.60 its made non tradeable, and in a later patch they will make the quest so that all will get it. All who have done the quest by then, will then have to do another step in order to gain this necklace. The quest is not bugged, its ment to be like this, but Mythic changed it due to much whine i guess, nothing else to do than w8 for this 80 utility mofo neckie.

I'd prefer to keep my Avernal necklass tbh,

cold and body are capped from all the other nice SI items, so effectivly your only getting 2x10% worthwhile resists

At least i am anyway

Well it will be faster to level alts to 50 and hope you get that necklace with some alt.. then wait for 1.61+ patch.
