"Classic" server survey
So far not many of you have given your opinion about a possible "Classic" server, excluding most of the "Trials of Atlantis" contents as well as the limited range buffs. Voted yes. Am great with a server where you don't have to spend endless hours getting your character equipped with Artifacts and ML's. I know there'll be alot of PvE in the upcomming expansion Darkness Rising and that it'll be added to the non-ToA server. But on a normal server I would've to both ToA my character and then get the champion levels.
ToA am easy to finish if you got the network, but as I don't got the network anylonger, well, I guess I'll play on Classic US for now. Will come back if EU gets a non-ToA server aka. "Classic".
Being playing with some of the better guilds on Gareth I've found out that there's actually alot of FG vs FG action, just don't run in the heavy zerg zones i.e on Agramon or camp an enemy keep in your realm, where they've got all 4 towers. Also the zerg there's on Gareth does mostly exist of non-optimized groups, so I've seen plenty of times where 3fg's get runned over by good groups (very good?).

it's the US community that are lame and add on everything. To be honest I think with the no-add policy we've got between the players on EU, I don't think it would be the big problem.
The players that would (if it ever comes) move to the EU "classic" server, would be EU players mostly, as the US/Americans don't got any reason to move to ours, because they've already got their own 3 servers. The only reason we see EU players move to US Classic servers, is because we don't got any here. So the conclusion would be that, the people that WOULD add on the EU "classic" server(s), am the same people you normally see add on the normal servers.

now if they were propossing a no catacombs classes server, i`d say yes.

maybe toa is hard, but everyone who playes 10+ hours a week can get ml10 and a full optimized arte suit on 1 char... everybody has access to the same stuff.

reall OP stuff came with catacombs cause only the fotm new class rerollers got access to it.

voted yes. Anything that will remove the bufbots from RVR will get my vote. The ML trails are pain also, and very bad designed for any casual player to ever achive . . even they have nerfed the trails some since toa release . . . they still are un-achivable by casual gamers.
Ofc i would hate to abandon my charecters on mid/excal. but the diffrence between a buffbooted, ML 10, and a not bufbooted ML 0 players, makes the game impossible to enjoy for a casual player.

on a Calssic server there will still be diffrence between players ofc, due to some having more time to get higher Realm Rank faster then others. But at the end of the day, the classes will be alot more balanced, and alot more inviting to new player´s who want to try out Dark age of Camelot.

It sounds nice, probably is nice, but current population kind of means that you want to keep the players focused on one server (after clustering).
So right now, nopes
Before the player drain called WoW, classic servers would have rocked my socks off.
Although unbuffed stealthers fighting each other would be hilarious and saddening at the same time

and "Classic server" with cata etc is pretty same as it is now with only difference no arties to exp and no ML's but lots of darkspire raids to get items u need etc...
