thats there bloody reply to all problems 1 free days play well if tha maybe sorted them selfs out in the first place thay would not get into a mess like this.
what company can get away with crap likethis selling a product thats not even rdy to sell mesing ppl about like this there isnt a company on this planet that would do so meny stupid things that goe and mythic do and still be in buisness

If you have SI and plan an entire afternoon to play DAOC, then yes, another boring afternoon (as Ive had a few - meeting with friends that went sour, bad movie, whatever).

As a customer they at least could have said that they couldnt patch because of Mythic - but getting the servers down was their idea - they shouldnt have done it when they werent able to complete it.

As for the patch being delayed, nps, its just the server downtime that bugs me the most. They promised us SI, but dates often get delayed, so most people are used to that. It's the fact that they started something they cannot finish, and the customers have to suffer under it.

Just bad policy from their part really.

And btw:
As for having no life - that argument is the oldest in the book, so have a bit of originality and come up with something instead. It's not because that I like to play games for a good deal of time on a free day that I'm a geek/dont have a life/whatever.

Yes, and rather than just post it here, send them a mail and Express your anger.

That is very poor planning and the result is people brought a game that doesnt actually work when purchased. Imo you are quite within your rights to install it (if you can get that far) subscribe it, and them take it back and get your money back.
