Shuttle prob

Ok shuttle arrived was lovely, day ago I noticed the fan speeds sounded a little odd, so switched off that night, booted up this morning and lo and behold, fan2 isnt getting any rpm, or the sensor is buggered ( cant see CPU temp via MBM5 anymore either ).

In bios i see

Fan1: running at ~1500rpm
Fan2: 0
Fan3: 4000-5000rpm

Could someone with a similar model ( 75G2 ), just confirm this is fucked? and any suggestions :/

Erm, use the MBM wizard (from the mbm forums) and let it set the sensors up for you. I don't have the same model, but mine has the same amount of fans.

1 ICE, 1 northbridge and the PSU fan(s).

My BIOS only reports fans 1 and 3 as well, and always has, On my model fan 1 in the BIOS is the ICE.

ok, just that a couple of days ago mbm was reporting the cpu temp, and now its not, accompanied by the slightly odd fan sounds, I thought it was buggered, system temp is stable though.
