But what about all the people who didn't buy or all those who now can't afford to buy houses, the people who 30 years ago would have been housed in council houses.

I don't have a problem with the whole right to buy, but they didn't create any new viable alternative so local government is now fucked as are the people on the lowest rings of society.

I agree with you. They said they would build new houses and they havent really.

This just reinforces my my point that we shouldnt give what housing IS available to foreigners though.
