i'd rather have him back for a while than toh permanently.

I could leave too, but wouldn't have a hissyfit about it, or claim i'm leaving for good, or try to get myself banned in the process.

But, since FHOT actually serves a purpose, and is a community of sorts that helps and laughs through life as much as any "real life" social circle, i don't abandon it just because i'm feeling bored.

not it doesnt, not for me, and for others i would assume.

if you died (harsh) i wouldnt feel sad, i would get a strange feeling and be sad for your family but i wouldnt affect me. if one of my real life friends/circle, it would be tough on me.
When im bored of FH i dont check it but if im bored with my friends i still catch up with them to see how its going.
Maybe its because i dont talk with any (execpt crispy) on MSN or IRL so i dont feel personally attatched to anybody.

I don't chat with others either, and you're a step better then me to feel sorry for my family(in a moral cencus way, as i don't feel sorrow for death), but it's still a clan, a tribe, a social circle, a help if need be, support even in some bits, laughs and drinks, it doesn't matter if it's on the internet and it's not because "oh noes i'm a social reject".

I'd do anything to help my fellow Freddy, in my limits, as well as any of my real life people(which ofcourse are easier to help). Every single one i consider a friend, becomes equal to my family.

And i consider many my friends, even suprising people on FH.

It might not be the same for you, or for "many others" as you speculate, but it is for me and it was a reply to your "oh so needed" insult.

my reply was to your "oh so needed" thread. which i confronted with an insult i calculated needed.
didnt say many others (originally i wrote many others, but reading it through i knew that it might not be for many, so i removed it).
and yes i agree, it has nothing to do with being a social reject. BUT! i could go onto any forum for my problem, ask the question and get qualified answer (moreso than here in some cases). even without being a part of the community, although they would probably ask me to search first and I'd realize that 100000 newbs asked the same question and got told the exact same thing execpt for 1.
but we're different people, different morals and ethics, bonds with family and friends and whatnot.
you stated yours, i stated mine.

Fair enough and agreed, we are. You've probably got "tighter" relations with fewer people, while i may have a larger group of people, but lesser of a "bond".

Or somewhere in between.

I thought the reply was just that, but hoped it would be taken as it was meant, a kind of a friendly burn on a fellow poster.
