Rant Should Aph3x be punished?

A few days ago Aph3x bought Dragon Age of Camelot...I mean Dragon Origins via Steam. I said I was thinking of buying it and asked how big the download was. He told me 1.5gb...now at this point I should have asked on here because it seems a bit small...but I figured "how hard could it be to read a few numbers".

I saw the game in the shops for £30. I thought "this may be cheaper on Steam, and a 1.5gb download will only take a couple of hours". I got home and checked the price on Steam. It was £29.99 - I thought "ahh no bother, I'll buy it and download".

When I click on Install it says 15,000mb......15gb!

I think Aph3x should be punished for leading me up a blind alley "ooh err". Please tell me the best way he could be punished. Pictures would be very useful for this.

You said I should check the system requirements before buying it. I dont need to check the requirements because I know I can pretty much run any game. Typically you check the system requirements to see if your pc can run the game, not to see how big it is versus your download speed to find out the total time it takes to download...

So with that in mind. I said I had a good pc, you then talk about my Internet connection and tell me "not as r0xxor as you thought"...I never said I had an uber internet connection. I said I had a good pc in relation to the above.

I dont mind downloading 15gb. However it was a bit of a shock when Aph3x told me 1.5gb. The whole point of the thread was to have a laugh at my bad luck, and more importantly bash Aph3x for giving me such bad info.

Me and Aph3x have a laugh and a joke on vent most nights so this is in no way spiteful etc. Just a bit of fun which your not exactly helping with...
