that is crazy :/ but what got me thinking was why did that woman have those dogs? they were in a metal cage, obviously vicious as fuck, as soon as they got out of the cage they attack 4 ppl, so im guessing tey dont usually get out, she had two kids aged 3 and 5, what the fuck does she have dogs like that around when u have kids that young. It just seems stupid to me, along with the fact that if they never get out of their cages what is the actual point in having them, the most fun i get from my cat is interacting with him, if he had to stay behind bars all day then he wouldnt be much fun. hmm anyway what those pl did was horrible :/ this country really does suck

True you can't take them on walks and throw sticks for them but the fact that my cat is so fucking lazy and the way he will fall asleep on my bed for 8 hours at a time, then go out at night and sleep on the next door neighbours bed all night brings a smile to my face . Living in the inner city I actually think keeping anything other than a small dog, maybe up to Labrador size, is in fact cruel. Dogs need space to live, not just a run around in the park, where they have to share with humans.

Inner city dogs are a nightmare, the sheer amount of them means an endless supply of shit strewn pavements, and parks are full of them on Sundays. A lot of parks fence off a "play area" for kids, yet that's completely the wrong way round, they should fence off a "dog area" and insist they're controlled in the rest of the park, too many people ignore the "keep your dog on a lead in public" rules.

Dog licences were abandoned years back on the grounds they cost more to administrate than the actual fee, why didn't they raise them, or restrict the fee to those dogs considered potentially dangerous, even better put the responsibility of dog licensing onto local authorities, they are always strapped for cash ?

Micro-chipping nowdays means it's easy to get your dog license confirmed, combined with the "passports for pets" scheme it would be fairly easy to regulate or enforce, by insisting you need a chipped and licensed dog for both immigration and kennelling.

The main holdback is the pithy attitude of "animal lovers" who don't like seeing strays put down.

As an addendum, the government should be thinking about more important issues than dogs.

I suggest instead of killing strays, just ship them off to the far east for conversion into tasty meals and then ship those off to the third world, solve stray dogs and world hunger in one go.

I'm puzzled, in your circumstances I'd rather risk be snapped by a camera and get to mummy in time than have to spend time chatting to PC Plod at the roadside.

They won't, trust me (£150 fine, 6 points,97.4mph). Apparently if you are going 25mph+ over the limit it is a court job, the plod are not allowed to give you a standard ticket. That applies on the A50 westbound anyway
