cant win em all. To be honest, the camera work is pretty weird anyway, I'm not convinced a better res version would add much value.

Its the shield, they go for the grainy look so regardless of xvid/x264/etc itll still look poor.

That stuff just doesnt encode well.

I know but sd on a 40inch hd tv just looks the shit with its crappy compression.

The x264 codecs look less like sky3 on a shit day.

The difference is more down to the source its taken from rather than the codec

Loving it so far, no bs and straight into the main plot, i like it. Have been waiting for season7 for so long now its actually hard to believe its started.

And yes, sucks theres no x264!
