This is a quick thank you to Sharwyn - a Celt Blademaster who put a bit of fun back into the game tonight.
I have been one hit killed that many times off level 50s it was a nice change to have someone of that level not kill me out right when they had everychance to.
I spotted Sharwyn in Odin's running along the road opposite APK and hiding behind a tree, now as a scout im not upto missing an opportunity at a lone celt even if she was red to me. I let loose with a crit shot and three more arrows - all of which missed (i was amazed) and then i legged it down the road towards apk, out of endurance i thought 'sod it ill fight and die fighting not running away'.
I turned round and there proceeded a little battle with me and Sharwyn going toe to toe, evades were going every other attack on me (again i was amazed i lasted more than two hits) and i think one or two out of about 20 hits of mine landed on Sharwyn.
In the end as I knew what the final outcome was going to be - ie me dead. I stopped melee and bowed to the better opponent - Sharwyn. She then bowed and clapped me after I died (yes i told u i would), then she sat down on the road and watched as i got ressed off Wuh a passing Paladin. Then lo and behold she didnt attack either me or Wuh.
There then followed a lot of emote's going off waving and clapping. Then Wuh asked if we could manage to take here together he a 32 paladin me a 44 scout, i said we could try. Lots of misses later we were once again sitting down using emotes to try and convey how stupid we felt at attempting to hit her, arrows and sword blows didnt land even when she just stood there.
Tasos the merc came along and proceeded to introduce himself to the lady, and they had a little set to where none were the victor. A good fight off them both. Wuh decided he wanted the quick way home and we once again relied on emotes to get Sharwyn to assist him.
Tasos eventually lost to Sharwyn in another close set to, I cried for Tasos and clapped for Sharwyn. We then set off to AMG using our crude comminications to convey that I wanted to fight some mids at AMG, eventually tho she conveyed that she wanted to suicide and I got out my bow to attempt it when another passing group of Hibs appeared and two hit killed me 844 hit (HP 935 hmm me dead). some stern words were heard in a language i did not understand and Sharwyn stood crying over my dead body.
I released and came back again with TheCrow (Tasos) and we met with Sharwyn again on the road and this time we proceeded to finish off the task that she wanted and killed her. (Tho for a Rank 6 we only got 678 rps)
Again I must say that this was a great evening at odins - after the hash of the amg zerg again - lots of mids suiciding (even to the portal inside the keep after one massive charge /claps ) and i hope that Sharwyn enjoyed her day of communications with an albion lol.
