Shar NS

from NS TL.

"Fully buffed, Aug Con3, Tough 2, exact gear (max hp/con)

Lurikeen had no starting con points (due to a vast majority of shades not knowing to put points into con when they created, and what my Lurikeen has).
Shar had 15 into con, cause if I were to roll a shar from scratch this is what I'd do (I can be a min/maxer as much as anyone)

Lurikeen: 1768hp
Shar: 2096hp <-- note: He still hits Quick and Evade cap

Where is the SB's hitpoint advantage now? Especially when they have no reason to take Aug Con that high/at all. "

"Let me redirect you all.

This wasn't the sole reason that Shar NS were not allowed. The caps play a far larger role, one in which I've always argued harder but the detrators tend to ignore due to them wanting to focus on the more marginal reason of Celt Con/hp.

I hope to some of you that this is all becoming clearer as time progress, and the bigger picture starts to fall into place. I thank those people who are starting to see and are posting as such. "
======================================

Tho i think they should have allowed Shar NSs. +100-200-300 hp is less scary than AP3, which will not be axed from them i think.

Celtic and Shar Nightshades were both shown to be overpowered. Thus they never happened.

Another strong reason for them to stop Celts and Shars from becoming NSes was the existing Luri NSes crying to high heaven about it. ;)

So shar can become ranger? Well the step between celt and shar aint that big, but I fail to see the difference between a celtic/shar ns and a celtic/shar ranger. Both classes have access to AP which is a grossly overpowered ra on stealth classes.

So do Hunters and Minstrels ;)

Explain why a celt NS is overpowered, but a Brit Infiltraitor isnt???

Theres absolutly no logic for it....

a celt just has base stats in everything... same and briton..

why can you have brit infs but not celt shades??

Loadsa High rr nightshades whinged for fkin ages about celt nightshades etc, and got kicked right in the teeth when the *high const* race was give nthe ability to become a nightshade , shudda just let celts be nightshades and wudnt need to bother about shar ns`s - cant wait to play a fotm :p

i dont think its albs/mids whining about it. its the current nightshades that want a respecc race if they can become nightshades.

Umm, the whole point of this thread is that Shars cannot be NSes.

Even if Shar or Celts could become NS, why would you existing NS want that? Surely you wouldn't completely reroll your char for it, and ultimately it would just make NS fotm, devaluing your class.
