I know you are the smallest realm in numbers but really Shame on you for helping the Albs again...

I did have some respect for the Hibernian nation but now i am sorry but the High level group that helped the albions with their raid on Midgard are nothing but Albion lap dogs

If it was an accident that they happened to be invading Mid at same time as a large alb force then bad timing or what

but i can not believe it was an accident

Hmm. As we were retaking Beno tonight (after Boldiam and Eras, and slaughtering a Mid army in front of Excalibur while another Albion army was breaking your doors - busy night), we were attacked from behind by a Hibernian army. We turned away from the doors long enough to destroy them utterly. I wouldn't say that was the action of an allied army.

The point about so-called "alliances" between realms is that there is no one voice for any realm, so most of any given realm would be unaware of any such agreement. As such, they're generally doomed to failure. Which is fine by me. Hib & Mids ?They're all the same ... ... dead.

from what i hear they did it twice in one evening (though did not see with own eyes so can not verify the second time)

I did not say hib and Alb were allied just that one group seemed to be lackeys of Alb for a while

Well, we left your relic keep with only 1 door closed and couldn't be bothered to go back so just asked if hibs wanted to go get power relics, with them only needing to take down part of 1 door.

Well about 10 minutes later we got bored of the lack of mids to kill, so went and pounded the albs, just as they were starting the attack on benowyc = ). Unfortunatly we failed to kill many of em, before sucumbing to the 100 odd zerglings they seem to have now adays. I myself did the only sensible thing, ran, hid and played with some yellow con albs till Jadow found me..... git .

One thing you have to learn about us hibs, we simply dont care, we go where it benefits us the most, and you mids kept coming and providing us with fun rvr and rps = ). If you dont want us to be there just wait around for about 30 mins and well bugger off after getting bored.

Oh please! People jump to conclusions and are so willing to accept that everyone is out to get them! Of course this thread would be here. This thread would be here even if one Hib had turned up. People post for stupid reasons, including the reasons for posting this thread.

I've said it before and I'll say it again : There is no alliance between Hibernia and Midgard. There is no alliance between Hibernia and Albion. There are no alliances between guilds of opposing realms. If a few people from opposing realms get together and bash another realm that is a mishap and happens very rarely.

Might I point out to those of you who can't work it out for yourselves Hibernia is now at war with Midgard and Albion since both realms now possess relics. I'll also add that Albions didn't mind ganking Hibernians with Midgard on the many occasions we tried to retake Cruachon before the relic changed hands to Albion. I'll also add that it still to this day happens in Emain!

Stop thinking with your eyes and opens your minds for once!

By dyind 3 times rezzing your whole force and then attacking it again still nicely done, was gonna join in for the last blows but breland attacked me. Aggressive little hib that.

And to kerram. If you heard albs were raiding hibs then wouldn't you attack albs while they are gone? It is not allying common sense.

Gombur, who was spying the border keep a bit, was just as surprised to see a bunch of high level Hibs there as we were. Have to admit it was quite some convenient timing.

No alliance or whatever, just bad luck for the Mids, good luck for us Albs and fun for the Hibs I guess. No biggie.

Even Hibs would have 100+ people in their frontier when they just had an attack on their relic keep.

Hehe that was a laugh, getting reports of Hibs killing Mids I don't know how many Hibs there were, but seeing as we had small contigents of Mids coming (10 or so at a time), there can't have been very many, and they weren't connected to us

and if true the "accidental" bit must say bad timing as the wave of Mids Rolled over you after for mini reign of killing the call to arms went out and midgard moved as one totally random swarm of savages throwing themselves at any enemy they saw

Anyway if truth be known i actually like mids more than hibs and was cheering for you on Wednesday night in Emain at MMG as you were fighting the hibs.

I wish People would stop saying that the Hibs and Albs are in cahoots with each other. They aren't! Give them the respect and credit they are due.

Some Hibs had been causing havoc in the Zombie Camp way before the Albs were trying their hand at the new DIY show called Changing Keeps. (You guys left quite a mess!)

Needless to say some of us Mids were hunting these Hibbies before we heard that the albs were redecorating our relic keep.

We managed to clear out one group of Hibs and as we were patrolling came across another group. (whether or not they were the same ones I don't know) It was about this time that we heard that the albs were attacking.

In no way do I think you guys were helping each other. I think we ran into a heavy Hib Skirmish group that do what they do best, cause havoc. It just so happened that the Albs had decided to invade too.

Anyway Grats to the Hibs and the albs for making it a really fun evening.... and I didn't have far to travel to get there too

Well coincidence it was.

We have serveral groups running around emain last night, but I only ran into Jon and some Kolbold, at the AMG, so my group (I was doing a Guild tour, so most of my group where less that lvl 20 lol) decided to go to yggdra instead.

We teleported and heard that there were 2 groups of highlevel hibbies there ganking the giant, we decided to meet up with them and go take your merchant keep, but they got wiped by some middies before we got there.

We decided to continue to yggdra so my young guildmembers could have some fun... when we ran into a 3 man patrol, which we could easily take out, except Blood and Cruz happened along, and we got wiped

All the time, there was no messages in the chatgroup or alliance chat about helping any Albs in any way.

The Hib alliance on Pryd are not interested in running interferrence for the Albs, since they took our relic. To be honest, there was never an alliance with the Albs anyway, and most times now, we are happy to wipe albs or middies in emain, and some of us are even travelling to alb land for some rvr now too

long post, no alb/hib alliance, lots of little battles, and plenty of dirtnapping.

Hibs do what they like to do.

In the evening, there's always atleast one high-level group of them in our frontier.
First they stay around HMG in Odin's, if no Mid or Alb shows up, they move to AMG and wait there. If Odin's is too quiet, they move to Yggdra and rampage there until some Mid-Highlevels come out to give 'em a ticket home.
Of course there's variation. Some Hibs DO help the Albs. Other Hibs prefer to kill Tincans. Sometimes Albs just paralyze a Hib and run on => Mid who's around thinks 'bah! they've an alliance'
Seen all this in Odin's.

Sorry Coren I called you a hibbie for all of 2 mins but you had posted in the time it took me to press post realise my mistake and instantly change it

It was a fun night I would not care if the hibs and albs were in an alliance . Heck its only a game..

It is fun to Xp on frontiers have a purple invader come along all the group then leaps on him and die one by one (i picture the invader with kobolds leaping on him and holding on to which ever limb they land on and the invader trying to walk away brushing them off )
Normally works they are normally kept busy until the cavalry arrive

RvR is great now you actualy can find someone to throw yourself against almost anywhere even if they are all still purple

And Krillin np apology most heartly accepted half the idea behind post was to see if i was right about peoples reactions

Rolith, I only took down one grey outside benowyc = ), about 4 yellow cons and i think i shot at a green and a blue once or twice. I killed the grey cause he ran over me, and as any good range knows, you dont leave a live contact behind.

Cons dont work on if they are lower they con blue in rvr. This is a rough guide for you, and you can ask your realm mates to verify it ; ).

Your con color: Agressor's con color:

Purple --------------- Grey/Green
Red ------------------ Blue
Orange ------------- Yellow
Yellow -------------- Yellow/Orange
Blue ----------------- Red/Purple
Green --------------- Purple
Grey ----------------- Purple

As you can see, i could quite easily have been orange to you, yet i would not have been able to tell you were a few lvls below. If you were the grey con, then sorry but you had spotted me, hence were doomed = ).

<nods> Kaylin is quite correct here. I remember moaning about why sinister was killing me when I must have been grey because he was oh so purple. Someone of the same level on midgard checked for me and explained that I was green <smile>

Green is definately fair game! To be honest, I always kill greys if I can too, just to stay stealthed so it's kind of irrelevant anyways. Everyone kills everyone else, which is as is should be. Although I try to avoid killing cute little lurikeen rangers if I possibly can. And those long legged blonde elf chicks... but for totally different reasons.
