respec to critblade, shadowblade, opinions wanted

saw other day i have full respec free...so was pondering the idea

No, don't. I played a bit with lesbos, 50 CS, 44 sword etc, and after also having played runolas as pure sz and as five spec, I'd have to say that every sb should have at least 39 LA. La is too good to pass up.

It's difficult to play CS as your fully dependend on the PA. The dmg out-put is also not that great. I think if you want to PA it's better to spec either 5-spec or SoulBlade, but it always ends up with what kind of SB you want to be.

With the current spec's on my SB's, I must agree with Leel, Runolas >> Lesbos.

Having said that it's fun to dropp a mage in one blow, and sprint away into the shadows.

Crit blade is more about being patient and picking your battles, Shadowzerkers are more about finding sombody de-stealthing and kicking their ass.

Bottem line, critblades are more of a challenge than shadowzerkas (thats my opinion anyway)

or something similiar.

not sure if there is anybody out there with something like that, but sounds pretty cool if you dont like to PA people

if i had 2 respecs(maybe i will miss PA!) i would want to try this one out:

2 Cs

yes Ulkes spec is perfect for dark days of post 1.61 world

When every assasin will have 2400+ HP and weaponskill higher then of pure tank base buffed ....

wtf.. even now without PA 5-spec ownz Thanes and Wars in duels...

envenom helps your dps more than a few more points in axe and la.

50a (Weap skill)
44la (icy and style dmg)
31env (best debuff at rr6)
31stea (even now with 46stealth i never get destealthed)
12cs (@10 bs2, stun style, and had spare points )

i havent played more than 50k rp with it solo yet(after respec) but DAMN i love it, i would like to hear ur results if u respec to 50a//50la, but im afraid if u sacrifice of env will gimp u mate, and 34stealth is to high at rr4 ull get 48 and before i repsecced i had 35 base so iv tried the climb from 46~50 and from 48~50 there is no diff i promise u, atleast none i felt.

and i see once again iv managed to write something completly wrong in gramma, so i hope it makes sense

As a SZ you need the best debuff, the difference is huge.

Atm I have Axe46/La44/Env33/ST33/11CS. FonS spec is the best SZ-Spec for RR6+ though.

...and yes you can easily get away with 46-47ST if your a SZ. Unless we're talking Pin, I always say yes plz find me .

Critblade is hard to play because timing is the most important when setting up an PA, with a slow comp like mine its hard to do and almost impossible in big battles so most of the time i use the Backstab 2 combo. I hope to find a respec stone in 1.60...

33stealth - L50 stealth at RR7

this is with auto train stealth to 48, this to me seems like the most effective specc.. at RR6 and sc you will land on:

55axe
55la
50cs
50envenom
49stealth


118 str/con debuff is a MUST, if you dont get it your gimped, 39 LA is a must to win pure melee cos of comeback-frosty with 6sec stun....

PA,CD is a must aswell, since its damn nice for takeing out casters and also gives you

stealth should be at L50, you get that at RR7

and i can say im not complaining at all il just give a few examples of a few battles that have really made me think wow in the last few days

Friar coming i PA land a wonderful 934 PA+ 439 crit and yes it was a 1 shot. he was lvl 50

cleric same thing dropped 1 hit.lvl 50 cleric unbuffed ofc

and am i correct in saying that SZ-5 spec suck against necro? coz everyone ive seen fighting has died.

Me? i just 1 shot there silly little pet then laugh at the mage as hes thinking wtf.

all i can say is if u wanna be a SZ-5 spec just roll a true zerker if u wanna play a true assassin play a critblade.

also everyone has good days and bad days? doesnt really matter what spec you are as long as u enjoy it....

well for those who cant bother to line up for PA each time they are gonna kill someone? what about them?

alltho i love doing it with my ns, makes things so much harder, not like my zerker where it is 2shot with back-pos style

and its not the problem to kill the non-stealthers with crit blade specc its the assasins, they are the problem, with 2h etc they have a great chance of landing DF/DB... wich usually results in game over

And ur comment about 21cs for pa, yea i thought of that and really hard desicion but tested it on rr6(or 5 cant remember) sb on US on pendragon and icy brilliance with +9la (thats with rr+) did like 30~40% more dmg than pa with +14, and yes i know it breaks BT and so and such, but icy is allso a DAMN effective style in group rvr (yes i group with sb, flame me)

and to u sorusi since we r in guild ill laugh/point at u in /gu for ur comment not gonna comment it further here, mr knowitall ... or is it mrs ? )))

at rr6 and with 21 CS, id say u get a pretty 'ok' PA. 21+11+5. the dmg will go over DF i belive. which makes it worth the pts imo.
(a SZ only need BS2 for casters...but PA is soo much easier too land on moving targets..)


as for Snowsquall and Icy when ur grouped, get a shammy with endregen chant....DF DF DF DF DF. (v overpowered)

Remi even with endu regen ss/icy owns df in groups
i allso use df ofc
but the dmg output when killing someone stuck to a caster of urs is awesome and just running df as backupstyle to ss/icy ur fine, so i do think the 21cs spec is a mistake and as i said before its sucky dmg like 400ish maybe 450

Sz, CB etc are all good specs, its a matter of opinion whats the best and even if there is a best the person might not play in that style to suit the spec. Im a mix of the specs, some say I must be gimped but ask Arnor if my 1st hit is gud or not

Hmm,you say DF is uber, I say its crap compared to ss/icy an example is that if DF does 400dmg SS will do about 490dmg and Icy about 550, no exact numbers but you get the point
