shadebug?

A couple of days ago an alb/hib zerg was fighting eachother at amg hib side. Suddenly I see this necro down the slope. Tried to attack him on two occasions but as u see can see from the pic hes in "shademode". Is this a common bug..? never seen it before myself.

Looks more like a lag-ghost to me ( not in view, chat going on about huge alb numbers etc ), not surprised you see him as a non-shade then.

the strange thing was he had that mode for about 30 seconds.. then I lost interest in him and joined the zergfight.. me and the other guy on the picture followed him from the trees close to amg to the middle of the slope.. and there wasnt much lag because I was facing away from the zerg.. never seen it before and was just wondering if this is common

but then again.. the "is not in view part" is prob due to lag

did he run in a straight line all the time?

I have seen a screenie of a necro who was in shade form, but was still in normal inconnu form. In other words he had his necro pet, but still had his normal looks (he didnt look like he was in shade). Dont know what else the bug did, but probably nothing except that he didnt look like he was in shade form.

It might have been caused by lag aswell, but doubt that. He was probably in shade form without getting the new skin and he lagged towards you guys?

I think it may be a common bug. Saw it in bg3 last week when the xp group i was in was in there. There was a necro walking about with his pet, but he appeared to be not in shade mode.
It's probably a similar bug to the one that makes people look like they are in perma-moose/perma-rat-mode etc.

Had it happen a few times to my necro. Usually happens when you summon a pet just as a large effect ( AoE stuff etc ) goes off.

Kinda weird

The person who summons the pet thinks they are in shade mode though as they appear to be in shade mode on their screen.

Seen it a few times now, once in Thid and once in Hadrians that i can recall, bloody annoying

Seen it quite a lot, seems some people will still see the shade some will see the incunno in all the fishy glory.

... or see that the necro has a df monster as pet (necyomancer orsmt), instead of the 'casual' pet.

Funny as hell to have 6 tanks /stick on you for over a minute tho Then they realize they can't attack you

Depends on the amount of spells, styles etc. you use and of course how fast you are on yer fingers....

Not mapping sprint doesnt have to be gimp tbh o_o
