I just cant see the point tbh. Use the shotteh in game by all means, but dont dedicate a game to it .
If it makes you any happier we're finding a grand total of zero clans willing to take us on mano-a-mano with M3. They're quite happy to do AWM/M4/AK vs M3, or SMGs vs M3 or ... and so on... Most of them won't even do FF matches... So it's a bit of a wash.
Sad. But true.
The point of doing M3 matches is a change of scene. It utterly changes the play of many maps. Imagine Aztec without a wall of AWMs facing you as you charge out in your bloodstained Artic Joe outfit... It opens maps up tremendously. It makes camping practically impossible (although sneaking around and blamming people is definately possible), it removes a large chunk of the netcode BS that you see too. No more rand-o-sprays resulting in headshots... The slow cycle of the M3 means that in the vast majority of engagements you don't die instantly, moreover you get enough time to react and retaliate... You can't spray through walls and expect to kill people either. Another subtle point about M3 matches is that it's very easy for a team on a slide to make a come back... No more saving for 3 rounds for a M4/AK and getting AWMd as soon as you move from spawn... It's more like save for a round - drop a few people with a pistol and then start the next round with an M3 and kick ass.
In essence I think that M3 only removes a lot of the frustrations that many players feel during a CS session.
Getting frags depends on aim, not ping or spraying. It's a head adjustment. Some people can make it, many can't.
