I actually spoke to Loch in PM on IRC and he told me about the radar accusations from a member of Sev which I admitted were completely unfounded and out of order. And I publicly apologise on here, as Polka has already done and back up that when we find out who it is then they wont be part of Severance anymore as that sort of behaviour isnt tolerated.
We lost big-time tonight against PE/FL, and there's nothing else to say about it.
I dont see any shame really in losing as 2fg to PE/FL + stealthers. PE/FL are the best players in Alb. They are very high RR, play well together and would kill most fg vs fg 9 times out of 10.
Where I do see shame though is when members of Severance accuse other people of using radar and logging on to another account just to whine at other players of the game.
Please dont take 1-2 persons actions as a representation of the whole Guild. Most of us logged fckin depressed tonight, heads down, with nothing to say and not sure of the way forward for Severance RvR. Its obvious that what we are doing at the moment is 1) not working and 2) bringing a never-ending flame fest on BW. As a GM of a Guild, and as a human-being playing this game, I can assure you that neither of these are fun.
I even asked Loch what he thought our problems were "player to player" and I thought he was being sincere and gave some good advice. Then he goes and brags to all on the main channel how he's just given "some Sev Druid advice on healing and how to play better" and continues to take the piss out of Sev with Derric.
Most members of Sev are only trying to give a GG in RvR. We dont LIKE running 2fg's but sometimes its the only way we feel we can compete. Like Loch said in our PMs - its any easy 4k for a decent mid/alb group. All good for you then, all depressing for us. Yet still we are on the receiving end of flame.
I dont think people realise how seriously shit it is to play Hib RvR. We either get ganked by 2-3fg mids running together, or a impossible to beat Savage train. If its not mids its fg+ Alb stealther adds or Albs running as 2-3fg. If we run as 2fg to try and give ourselves a fighting chance we get flamed for zerging and the piss taken out of us because we cant beat the best players in Alb.
The easy option is just to say f*ck it and disband the Guild or reroll on Exc. Some us dont want to give in just yet though, but we want to actually try and get it right. Wish us luck - cos God knows we're gonna need it.
