Ok, I've been experiencing random game crashes since I don't know which patch.

The problem is, that I really don't know if it's just the game or some hardware or driver problem.

This is what might happen when I play the game and it's totally ad random and pthers days it doesn't crash at all:

- most of the time I simply randomely crash doesn't matter where I am, the game suddenly crashes resulting in an error in camelot.exe
- zoning for instance to a keep can result in the same camelot.exe crash
- zoning in specific zones like Dark Spire, makes the game crash
- while loggin in NF or porting to a keep or border keep, I get the message "the destination zone cannot be loaded" and it results in camelot.exe crash
- the game just dissapears and i'm back to desktop without any message of camelot.exe crashing. This can happen anyware at all. For instance while I was doing the last step of ML7 groupstep, it exited to desktop several times in a row or travelling in ToA did the same thing. Then I logged back in and did something else and it didn't crash at all.

I don't know of other users are experiencing the same problem and I'm almost thinking about reformatting my whole system to have a clean setup, but I'm afraid i'm gonna throw my computer trough the window when the game starts crashing again after reinstalling my system for 6 hours.

System:

Asus A8N-SLI
AMD 64 3200+
MSI GeForce 6600GT
1.5 GIG RAM DDR 400

Tried reinstalling new drivers, got the latest dx, rolled back to older drivers and lalalala. New bios, new system drivers, lalala

FYI: I don't have any problems with any other game exept DaoC, which makes me doubt it's my system.

Tnx for any help at all. I would Right Now it, but i'm afraid they are just gonna say that I need to reinstall drivers.

Couple of things you could try :

1) Try removing the DAOC folder from the AV software you are using - sometimes that affects the game running

2)I had the same problem with the game crashing (and only in DAOC) and it was because the VPU processor on my gfx card was on the way out. Try dl'ing 3Dmark and testing your gfx card

Hope this helps.... its really annoying when it crashes randomly and so often.... been there and done that :twak:
