Setting up an IRC Channel.. but where?

OK, not sure about where this should go, it isn't "Web Dev" enough for the Web Dev forum, so I'll put it here and hope for something useful :)

I've been running my website for the best part of 18 months now. It has active forums and the community is quite nice. Small, but nice.
I'm looking to set up an IRC channel for the site somewhere in the world. However, seeing as it isn't specifically a gaming site, I don't think i can justify getting a eggbot (or whatever they are called) on QuakeNet.

So, can anyone recommend a network that would accomodate the site (Student targeted) and give a reliable eggbot to keep it alive?
Alternatively, if it can be set up on QuakeNet and someone is running reliable bots then info is gratefully accepted.

Thanks in advance.

Yup and is a doddle to set up and get. I got it for the BWCPMRAL league and admin channels a few weeks ago and it works a treat.

Lacks certain Q features, like banning etc, but is good enough for a website channel for instance.

just need to ask the right people

#farmbots do (or at least did) check that
