For the last couple of days all the server in ASE but 1 or 2 have had pings of 9999. Are the servers down or something?

A couple of days ago a lot of the HL servers went down due to server attacks. Since then third party patches have been released to deal with the hacks.

Err, sounds like you've got a problem with your connection or ASE itself fusion. Try updating all the servers.

Hmmm, There's still a lot that seem to be down apart from one or two. All my Jolt server have pinged ok. I guess they have patched their servers.

No, thats not it. All my Game.net servers and bygames and jolt -infact all the UK servers in my ASE list are fine. So its something on your end.
