Around 1700hrs on 15th March the FH main SQL server suffered a catastrophic hardware failure. I have recovered the system onto a backup server but unfortunately all posts made after 0500hrs 15th March have been lost. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

That sucks hard. It sounds like the perfect time to adjust a certain hardware order you were about to place with an unnamed online PC company *cough* SCAN *cough* ;)

I'll stick another £10 in the meter (years sub) when I get home tonight. It might be an idea to have a reminder set up or something that the sub has expired. I didn't notice my last one had expired.

Can we get rid of the message telling us about the crash now please? :)

It should go if you dismiss it, XenForo is coded to remember what you have seen and cleared server side.

So after spending several hundred pounds for a new server to replace the failed one finally managed to switch back. Fucked off, it was a failed FBDIMM worth 50 quid, spend tons more than that. Anyway, FH SQL server is back and humming...
