Sooo... I'm a noob when it comes to this technical stuff, anyone care to explain? I understand there's a page down on the internet. I understand DAOC doesn't work. I understand they set it up so anyone connecting (quite alot since all went LD it seems) will get patched to US-version again and can't play even when DAOC will get up. Connect these dots please :cheers:
Is it the evil cleaninglady? The french? Murphy's Law (the law, not the dwarf of course)? Nooo, blame Canada! Blame Canada!

Btw my internetconnection is real slow atm, no matter what I do... this being ADSL in Sweden... so it's quite common I take it?

Yeah, mine's been noticeably slower for a few days..plus I have problems getting on to pages that I've never had problems with before.

e.g. cannot get onto VN Boards at all ATM...?!?

They own Wanadoo, which in turn owns GOA, which provides both the servers and the network we play Dark Age of Camelot on ;)

Although from Chretien's tracerts looks like Bletchley's fallen over again and taken Opentransit with it.

France Telecom owns Wanadoo Portails who in turn own Goa.
They are also a major european telco and manage a lot of internet routing equipment.

no France Telecom = no DAoC for j00
