damned...not what i hoped for...been on a little hour and finaly got fins group and then pfff...blackout at goa or the like =/...

Fix is in tech support section, but you cant fix it till update servers back up.

I went ld and tried getting back on, and of course it patched to the US servers. And now after having changed my update.dat file I get an error message saying "Cannot connect to update server. Please wait a while and try connecting again. If you still cannot connect, check for more information here: http://support.darkageofcamelot.com/patcher"

Anyway if you do patch to the Us servers there's a really easy way to solve it (once you can connect again). Just copy the following lines into your update.dat file.

For SI:
Mythic Patch
193.252.123.21:1280/updates/english/isles/mpatch.dat
193.252.123.21:1280/updates/english/isles/mpatch.dat

For classic DAoC:
Mythic Patch
193.252.123.21:1280/updates/english/camelot/mpatch.dat

Although if you use the one for the classic DAoC client you might have some patching to do, cos it's from my update.dat file from before I got SI when it came out.

Yeah, slow as hell for me too...I'm on NTL cable. Anyone else getting Net running very slow ATM? Also can't log into pages I normally can, getting 404 or even 403 on pages I normally access fine.

BT broadband is slow as hell too atm, so I'm reckoning it's a router on the main network that's gone arse up. Most likely Bletchley as that's the fav and BT funnily enough doesn't have its lovey little traffic lights showing what level the service is running at on its home page at the mo

I've got loads of ping lag, the goa network isn't reachable, most of my outbound tracert's are quit
