Indeed m8, not sure if ppl noticed, but this forum is RVR Discoussions, note the word Discoussions, that word again Discoussions, and ur right, RR10 only gratz imo

Says the man who did his own RR6 gratz thread Seriously though people get to choose what they read - if you see the word gratz noone forces you to open it. The only other threads on here are whine threads anyway .. what do you prefer? I would prefer whines to have there own section :kissit:

i get gratz from RR ding, and level ding, but from the guild.. not the whole population of FH..

and i do think that RR5+ is something big, but not something special, and i dont think there is a reason for bringing it to the forums..

i dont mind the "Ding RR10!" threads, hell, il if some1 dings RR10 il be the first person to say gratz if i read the forums at that time.. that is something that i feel is in its right place on the forums.

and whats so exiting aboute the gratz threads? it keeps the RvR forums alive? so the RvR forums is alive becouse every1 says "Gratz" 3 times a day?.. The Whine, Flame, and "hehe we own youuuuu" threads is whats keeping this forums alive..

basicly we use this forum to gratz because all realms read it more then they do the other forums..

THE GRATZ THREADS TAKE TOO MUCH FRONT PAGE space. Not many people go to page 2 so we have an issue that discussion is stifled because there are so many stupid gratz threads

In regards to the last response. i would wahnjn and flame alot more if we had enough quality threads to start a war on. Watching Dook wade in with his elephant feet always makes a nice target. I don't know about others but I read this board once twice a week now compared to daily when people actually had something to say.


I bet 75% of the people saying gratz to others have no idea who they are gratzing. Some people have postpharm mentality even if posts aren't even counted. People suggested a gratz section long ago. People have suggested people post them in there own realm section. I have another. Make them sticky to the bottom. Everyone interested in seeing what nobody dinged what they can hit 1 button and find all the uninteresting threads nicely placed out of the way.

To be quite honest this forum is made up of the following...

Gratz threads! - Handy, why!? well people in all realms get to respond to it. RR6+ only normaly go on. more often it rr7-rr8+ at the moment. I like to know when my enemies ding, especially people i respect so that i can say my part to them. May do nothing for you, but some people like to be updated on enemies/friends they know from frontier.

Whine/flame threads! - well these got to start from something, straight forward whine, or from another area. Straight forward whine = lol as it boring and normally straight forward "flame the poster", some start from nothing and get turned into whine/flamefest 2004 (see zerach gratz). Whine threads achieve what!? nothing!

Discussion posts! - well these are rare and fare between. For instance. If i started a thread saying "Savages need a nerf, reason xxx" replies will be "QQ newb" etc. See above on whine/flame threads. If you can shift through the whine/flames you can get a discussion going and can do at times. Tell you what. I try a discussion about relic raids and times etc that wont upset people and see how it goes for you! afteral, mids tried a 2am rr other day so now we all on equal grounds. In the past couple weeks all realms done a 2am+ rr. Most these threads = uninformative babble and useless but some can be worthwhile.


So then. Basically, if we go by what you saying, why dont we just remove any RvR forum to save the hassle!?

And aye lets get rid of RvR. Also, i like the creatures we pve on .. so lets stop killing them too. We can all be level 1 and run around hugging each other. Dance around in hadrians, play golf in emain, and huddle together round a fireplace in odins ( nice camp with that named quest mob with a fire to borrow)

Nah you forgot the occasional fun thread like the piccie Ilum drew at 4 am thread for example

Also there's rr threads (tho they are really a mix between grats and or whine threads )
