Serious question

Ok so I'm coming close to malmo level range (42.5) with my shadowblade. When I was getting my shammy to 50, there used to be people in Malmo very late at night for them (3-4AM). This is about 10PM for me or roundabouts. Lately I have done a /who malmo around 9PM my time and find that there are very few in Malmo... maybe 3-4 at most.

I get home from work about 6pm my time, cook dinner for the fam, usually log on between 7 and 8PM (1-2AM for everyone else)

I understand that often people will go /anon in malmo to preveng spam like "who is LK?" etc etc... but if there really aren't enough people around at that time that makes me kind of sad...

I'll be moving to England in the next month but I want to be able to level in a group during weeknights as well as weekends (which are much easier for me) before I go there. I have about 3-4 weeks left before I'm moving there.

So I'm addressing this mostly to people who are currently in Malmo late at night --> around what time of night do you pack out the trash? i.e. log?

EDIT: this is NOT meant to be a post for people to flame about how lame Lair is. I am well aware of that fact.

Thanks in advance :)

Most of the people who organise the grps in the morning log around 4-5 Bst due to the huge stress handling groups. After that the grps have a 50/50 chance of surviving tbh. You need SM's and you need healers to make it, and people are tired of the grps or of waiting in the late hours. So that's normally the reason why people log.

You need to XP in the weekends and get up at (hehe) 11 PM US time to get a grp there nowdays. Then you should be certain to get a spot somewhere.

Sad reality, "but that is the way the cookie crumbles" :)

Thanks, Rei. I know no one likes SB's but I'm not going to delete mine. I've had my sb for a year - made her when I didn't know a thing about assasins and only meant to keep her for the bgs but she has grown on me. Sorry if that will annoy people but if it makes you feel better I plan on staying solo in RVR. "Stealth zerg" seems like an oxymoron.

Again, thanks for the tip :) I guess I'll have to shift my sleeping pattern around a little :)

get yer skinny butt to malm and go poke around in person, works like a charm. and be up early euro time if you can, or late.

Actually, with the box-pulls people are doing at lair these days, Shadowblades work really well in those groups.

Infact, during my time 45-50 with Aegi ( my SB ); my groups tanks were primarely Shadowblades ( Rei can confirm this, although his SB just sat there *cough* ;) )

They are excellent for getting aggro with their (pre-next-patch) huge anytime damage styles. With a decent gear and shammy buffs ( you'll need a high aug shammie for end-regen anyway to keep downtime low ) they have no problems tanking either.

Since some of the tanks fell asleep or whatever during pulls, it was not uncommon for me to hold 2 or 3 mobs until AE-stun sunk in ( granted; dodger helped tons with that ).

My point is - get your SB a nice leveling gear - max out damage, hits, str/con/dex/qui and melee resists and you can tank just as good or even better than others.

Getting aggro and holding it for a few seconds is all that's needed with box pulls.

( and for the other listkeepers; having a seperate list for rogue-classes is so 2002 )
