Excellent movie have seen it twice all ready, i really cant understand why it hasnt been that sucsesful in the box office is perhaps the best sci-fi film i have seen of recent years.

Ive just finished watching the TV series. Fantastic show!
Pity it was cancelled after one season.

If the film is anyway like this TV series I hope they make many more and then bring back the Tv series.

Just watched the Series back to back, to says its awesome would not be doing it justice.

I like Tom pissed my pants at the Hospital scene with Mal and Zoe had to pause the damn thing.

Fingers crossed the DvD sales of the box set and Serenity make someone sit up and take another look at this.

Unfortunately I doubt it. Plus, even if they did, Joss Whedon is working on other things now, namley Wonder Woman. Trust Mr. Whedon to pick the empowered woman role again

Finally got around to watching the film the other day after putting it off till i'd watched the series again. Also, if you get a chance, there was a 3 comic series that bridges the gap between the series and the film, that is pretty good.

Seeing River standing in the pile of Reavers with blood dripping from the weapons was very Buffy in my opinion. Not something I'm adverse to

I'd love them to make another series or film of Serenity (I believe Joss has a trilogy in mind). The humour alone is enough to keep you coming back. Although if he is planning a Trilogy, with his penchant to killing of main characters, i wonder if he'd have enough people left for the 3rd

By the time I finally got around to watching the series, Serenity wasn't being shown anymore, so looking forward to catching it on DVD next year. The gag reel is supposed to be pretty good on it too.

Watched the Serenity movie today, and while it was nice to see some more of the firefly universe it somehow left me unsatisfied - it didnt really feel like firefly, and was kinda sad to see most of the characters not getting any room (never did care much for River tbh, plenty of other more interesting characters like Book f.ex). Still it was worth the watch, and i might very well watch it again in the near future since i was tired and in a bad mood when i watched it

From a lady called Heather Hill I got a couple and hers is by far the best. She will ask you to measure your head. I fount that although mine measured at 31" I ordered a 29" hat because it will get stretched with use. It will keep you nice and warm

I watched the film yesterday and i thought it was really quite poor. I havn't seen the firefly series though so that might be why. I can't really put my finger on why i didn't like the film, i usually love sci-fi movies, even the bad ones. I just couldn't relate to the characters and i thought the acting wasn't particularly special. The story line was okay, i would have prefered it slightly more complex, and to make more use of the Reavers. There was also too much talking and not enough action for my liking. I might give it another try in a few weeks though, it may grow on me.
