Has anyone got any tales of something bad happening and then it opens up a door for something really great?
you remember when i broke my hand? and doing that made me rethink my career options etc etc you all know this by now, well on tuesday i met this new boss at the library and she showed me exactly what course i need to do because she did it herself at the same uni, got me all the info etc and the cost of the course (velly velly expensive tbh).
I phoned the uni up on wednesday to find out if there were any places available and there are but i need another years work xp before i can do it, np this means i can do the ECDL in the mean time which will give me a head start with the course, but was quite worried about costs because i aint made of money, i never even accedentally swallowed a penny
Anyway I was checking my email last night and checked my other account that I dont often check because its just for serious stuff and say i had a mail saying because of my hand injury i had been awarded £[enough money to pay for the course and some left over for a small holiday].
When I finished hyperventilating I got this feeling like a huge weight had come off my shoulders and I've been smiling and randomly giggling ever since
I hope something this nice happens to you guys tbh I really do because it just made me think how damn lucky I am.
