wouldnt it be the right thing to do, if we held a little event in emain/bowl tomorrow night, in memorial of the happenings a year ago? something friendly for just 5 mins or something.

mebby all tanks line up and all mage showoff with magic etc.
My suggestion is tomorrow at 7 pm cet at bowl.. I think we can rely on that everyone can be non-jackasses for just 5-10 mins.
Share your thoughts.

And noone turn this in to a political discussion please :)

Similar things are apparently planned on some US servers. I would suggest that, if you are going to do this, you move it away from Emain to somewhere less likely to attract random players who don't know what you are doing and might attack. On Palomides I think they are going to do it at the broken aqueduct in Hadrian's Wall - that way you know that everybody who shows up is there to commemorate, not just out for a few realm points.

We're gonna follow Alrindel's advice instead... making it in emain will just be too mezzy.. when to stop fight, when to start again and so on.. So, the broken aqueduct in Hadrian's Wall tomorrow september 11th at 7 pm cet.

Gladdening to see, in England at least, the lack of media melodrama over this. Was fearing it'd be like the anniversaires of the death of Princess Diana; i.e. tastelessly commercial tributes, newspaper pull-outs etc.

K, we all think that sept 11 2001 was a sad day, and that it was a great tragedy, and horrible that 3000+ ppl died and all that. BUT
what happened there and all that patriotic stuff that came after that is NOTHING, and I cant express how NOTHING it was compared to things that happen EVERY SINGLE DAY in Africa and other countries and doesnt get jack-shit of attention. And the aftermath from sept 11 was the most moronic thing ive ever seen.
Americans wail and cry because 3000+ innocent ppl died and reply with killing over 15 times as many innocent ppl, oh and a couple of terrorist, we cant forget that.
Therefore, usa sucks balls, the sept 11 was a great tragedy, lets not forget that, and if it deserves all the attention and mourning from all the world, then let ALL FUCKING DAYS IN THE YEAR BE FUCKING PATRIOTIC DAYS like sept 11 has turned into, cuz there are so many sept11^500 all around the world EVERY DAY.
