Mate the mobs named to drop the scrolls are a pain in the ass cos they just dont drop much. Your best bet is to join ML raids and lotto for em. Rare scrolls drop much more often during these raids.

Also check out the merchant explorer, I saw scholars note 2 of 3 there for 500 gold last night.
