The skill behind auctions comes from the knowledge that when the bid is going to close, you slit ur bid in just before so no one can outbid you, therefore getting a cheaper item ;)

Well seems that Arethir bought the ring of his GM for 28p and Grizzy wanted me (since arethir was out of the race) to bump the price down to 20p because as he said it wasnt realy worth that much ( Arethir and Grizzy are in the same guild). That made me mad.

Now its sale at the UP guild CM for 30p

Why did they bid so much if they couldn't afford it? o0

Seems a bit selfish, but i agree on it not being worth that much, mine cost 20p less :|

sold my spare one for 15p i think it was, its a nice ring ofc, and rather rare, but dunno 30p sounds abit much although toa sure brought a whole new economy - problem at that high price is that you could probably get another high UV ring and redo armour or smthing.

When you bid, you only have to pay as much as the latest bid from someone else + the minimum increment. Otherwise it's not an auction, but a "who wants to pay most for this item"-something.

I was going to let this slide but that just to much.

YOU asked me to lover the Price to 20p AFTER you had bid 27.5p.

and THAT is what made me mad.
